Find Aquarius in your area
Here is where you can find information about the different Aquarius projects and contact information for them. Services will work in some or all of these ways:
- Aquarius offers alcohol information, advice and counselling to people concerned about their own or someone else's drinking.
- Help is available both on the telephone, and face to face (by appointment only) at our offices.
- We offer an initial individual assessment appointment, a wide range of counselling groups and individual counselling.
- All our staff are professionally trained in alcohol and other addictions.
- At Aquarius, we respect your right to make your own choices and decisions. We will not tell you what to do, or make judgements about you.
- We will provide you with information and support to help you decide on and work towards your chosen goal.
- All services are free of charge apart from DRIVE and the residential service.
- Most services are provided by appointment only.
- People may contact us themselves to make an appointment or be referred by a professional such as their GP, Social Worker or Probation Officer.
- Some people need extra support and medical help in order to stop drinking, but neither need nor want to go to hospital for this. A home detoxification service can be arranged and will be provided by community nurses.
