If you are a relative or friend of someone who has a problem with alcohol or drugs and you are reading this you have probably tried every way you know how to help to change the situation and how it is affecting those around you.

This may be the first time you have sought help. You may have talked to others and found this helpful. You may have talked to others and found their attitude, or their suggestions unhelpful. Often friends and family approach an agency like Aquarius as a last resort.

We cannot stress enough that seeking help is not a failure.  

You have probably tried all the ways you know how to change the situation and now you need the help of others. We all seek help for difficulties we are facing in our life. We all need support. You are not alone. Right now there will be countless number of people in a similar situation to you and wondering if anyone can help.

You are doing the right thing in seeking help. This is a positive sign that you still have hope that things can change for you and the person with the problem with alcohol or drugs. Seeking help demonstrates a positive attempt to gather as much information and resources as you can to do something about the situation.

Seeking help is a positive step towards changing the situation for you and others.
