Book of Hope

This year Aquarius celebrates its 40th Anniversary. In recognition of this milestone we have created The Book of Hope, a Heritage Lottery Funded Project. The book is a collection of images, stories and poetry gathered from people supported by Aquarius over the last four decades. These are the often unseen and unheard individuals of our society who have made changes in their life and found freedom in recovery.

As part of the project we have been raising awareness of the stigma around substance use and gambling within local colleges, giving people an insight into the human face of addiction and enabling people to hear real stories from real people who feature within the book.

If you would like a copy of The Book of Hope, or you would like us to visit your school or college, to deliver a workshop or assembly please contact kate.hemming@aquarius.org.uk If you would like your own personal copy of the book, we ask kindly for a small donation in order for us to cover the cost of a reprint in the future and postage and packaging. Alternatively, you can download the PDF version of the book.

We would really appreciate your review of the book so if you have a spare few minutes please download and fill out the feedback form here to tell us whether you thought it was an interesting read, or maybe you have advice on how we can improve the book for future reprints. Please return the form to kate.hemming@aquarius.org.uk
