Aquarius CIAS (Coventry Involvement Advocacy Service) facilitates recovery focussed advocacy and involvement for those in treatment and active recovery; this can involve their families, carers and affected others.
The service works in partnership with The Recovery Partnership, Swanswell ILS, and the Coventry Recovery Community CIC, actively supporting the thriving visible recovery community in Coventry.
Aquarius CIAS is committed to the development and maintenance of recovery communities to help individuals and families. We recognise that sustained recovery from alcohol and drugs can unlock the full potential of those who previously were considered by themselves and others to have no future.
At CIAS we provide an opportunity for substance users to talk to an independent person about any difficulties they are experiencing in accessing or receiving substance misuse services; we are a friendly helping hand when you need it most; providing information, advice and guidance to ensure that the service you receive meets your needs and those of your family
What is Service User Involvement?
You can help shape the future of substance misuse services in Coventry and influence the way services are developed and delivered. Getting involved can be a very rewarding experience. We welcome your thoughts, ideas and practical support through the Coventry Recovery Forum. Your input provides us with information that is vital in shaping the substance misuse services of the future, helping us learn more about the experience of service users. Share your knowledge and experience of what you feel works and what doesn’t work.
