Service User Network (SUN)

IMG-20140915-WA0005As a service user of any of the Aquarius services you are part of the service user network. The network gives you an opportunity to feedback your thoughts and opinions about our services, to pass on ideas and suggestions for improving our groups and activities and the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of our organisation and your treatment.
One of these being the annual recovery walk, which is now attended by over 5000 people in the UK, to celebrate overcoming addiction and looking to the future.

If you want to get involved and give us your feedback, please speak to your keyworker or email us

Service User Network Council (SUNC)

The council is a group of service users, peer supports and volunteers from all of Aquarius’s services, that get together once a month. They discuss what’s going on in their services, best practice around service user involvement, how they can get involved in regional and national recovery events and organise our annual service user conference.

The council also get involved in reviewing new and revised policies, attending the quarterly Executive board meeting, representing service users in strategic meetings and speaking with commissioners.

Even though a lot of work is achieved during these meetings we have a lot of fun along the way. Getting involved is a great way of developing your skills, experience new things and to meet some great people from across the Midlands and having an input in the way services are run to give the best possible support to all.
