This week marks the new financial year and like many businesses and charities it is an ideal opportunity to begin a fresh and make any necessary changes.
This has occurred this week in Aquarius, April 1st marks the day when we become part of the Richmond Fellowship group; a national charity who values everyone with mental health problems and practice social inclusion and recovery. A number of organisations are already part of the Richmond Fellowship group including CAN, My Time, Croftlands Trust and 2Care. We all share the same beliefs and core values of helping our clients in the best way possible, to make recovery a reality. Aquarius believes that forming this partnership will strengthen both Richmond Fellowship and ourselves and overall will enable us to give a better service to our clients and stakeholders by utilising the skills and expertise across the services.
April 1st will also mark a change of location – Head Office is relocating from the city centre to Edgbaston, we are leaving Kent Street and moving in with our Gambling, South Birmingham TOML, and Young People’s team which from our point of view means the tea round just got a lot bigger! Rest assured though we will be up and running again with the same phone number and email address as soon as possible. Click here for these details.
As the economy and services change, new drinks, drugs and gambling avenues appear in our market, we must alter the way we operate. So all this change is something we’re embracing, and after all we encourage change, Einstein himself said “insanity is repeating the same action over and over again and expecting different results”
Change can sometimes be unsettling, however Aquarius want to reassure you that our service delivery will remain the same, you will still see the same practitioners and support workers, the venue for our services will not change, most of this is occurring behind the scenes and things will continue as normal.
