Leaving care can be a challenging and uncertain time. Aquarius Homes exists to bridge the gap between care and independence, ensuring young people feel supported, prepared and empowered.
We provide structured support alongside hands-on learning to help residents gain the skills they need for everyday life. Our approach focuses on building independence, resilience, and confidence while offering a stable and secure place to live.
Our Programmes and Activities:Â Residents at Aquarius Homes take part in a range of activities designed to prepare them for independent living:
Cooking and Nutrition:Â Young people learn how to plan meals, cook healthy food, grow fruit and vegetable, and manage food budgets.
Money Management:Â Support with budgeting, managing bills, saving, and understanding financial responsibilities.
Home and Cleaning Skills:Â Practical guidance on cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a home.
Qualifications and Training:Â Access to learning opportunities that support personal development and future employment.
Life and Social Skills:Â Building confidence, communication skills, and independence for everyday life.

Aquarius Homes welcomes young care leavers from across the UK. Our homes are based in Birmingham and ideal for those who are leaving care, need support to become tenancy-ready, want a fresh start away from high-risk areas, or are ready to build independence with the right support in place.
We provide safe, supportive homes where life skills and independence are a focus. Our experienced and caring staff offer guidance, while there are opportunities for personal growth and qualifications to help young people thrive in a stable environment.
