After many years of dedicated delivery, the Aquarius Drive Service has now closed, marking the end of an important chapter in our organisation’s history. As we say goodbye to the service, we also say farewell to two of its longest‑standing team members Pami Kang and Gail Ingleson whose commitment and compassion have shaped the experience of thousands of people who have gone through the Drink Drive Rehabilitation programme.
Over the years, more than 3,000 people have attended and completed Aquarius Drink Drive sessions. The team has always led with empathy, professionalism and a non‑judgemental approach. Their work has helped individuals understand risk, rebuild confidence, and make safer choices for the future.
Celebrating Pami and Gail
Pami and Gail have been central to the success of Aquarius Drive and the rehabilitation programme.
Pami’s exceptional administration, organisation and attention to detail have consistently been highlighted as one of the service’s greatest strengths. Her calm presence and reliability ensured the programme ran smoothly and that every single individual felt welcomed and supported throughout their sessions.
Gail’s delivery has always stood out for its clarity, warmth and engaging style. Her ability to connect with people, create a safe learning environment and deliver sessions with both honesty and encouragement has been widely recognised and appreciated.
Together, they have created a service experience that many participants describe as life‑changing. Their work has not only supported individuals through rehabilitation but has also contributed to safer roads, stronger communities and, for many, a renewed sense of hope.
A Legacy That Lasts
Although the service has now closed, the legacy left behind is significant. Pami and Gail’s dedication have helped shape a high‑quality, empathetic programme that has supported thousands of people to reflect, learn and move forward. Many individuals who engaged with the service have spoken about how it helped them make lasting changes and avoid future drink‑driving incidents.
We are incredibly grateful for everything Pami and Gail have contributed over the years. Their professionalism, kindness and unwavering commitment will be remembered by colleagues, partners and the many people they have supported.
We wish them both the very best for the future.
