Support that starts with you
At Aquarius, we support people affected by alcohol, drugs and gambling to lead lives they value. Our services reach across the Midlands, offering a safe space, a listening ear and the tools to move forward.
But we don’t do it alone. Our fundraisers and supporters are a vital part of the story, helping us reach more people, do more good and create spaces where real change can happen.
Why fundraising matters
Every act of fundraising helps us go further. It enables us to do the things that fall outside the funding boxes but make all the difference to the people we support.
Thanks to generous donations, we’ve turned an empty garden into a hands-on project for young people to learn and grow. We’ve stocked play areas with toys and art supplies for children living with the impact of substance use. We’ve opened a social enterprise café that gives young people a place to work, train, and build confidence. And we’ve run day trips and seasonal activities that bring families together and create moments of joy in the middle of tough times.
These are the extras that shouldn’t be extra. And your support helps make them happen.
How to get involved
Fundraising doesn’t have to be daunting. It can be fun, creative, and completely personal to you. Whether you’re hosting a bake sale, doing a sponsored challenge, or donating your birthday to a cause you care about, what matters most is that you’re helping make a difference.
Some people choose to organise events in their community. Others team up with friends, classmates or colleagues. Some take on big challenges, while others simply spread the word and raise awareness.
